Overview


As the Finance Manager at SRAM, you are responsible for the complete, correct and timely execution, administration, reporting and presentation of all business related transactions and processes of the company. Furthermore, you will lead and develop the local finance team.

Responsibilities


  • Manage and develop the local finance team
  • Establish, manage, administer and control all accounting related transactions and documentations of the company and support and execute the annual budget preparation and control
  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with established trade and tax laws including adjustments needed for US-GAAP reporting requirements as set forth by SRAM LLC, ready for review and proof by independent auditors
  • Develop, prepare and execute internal financial reports in accordance with established rules and guidelines to provide financial information to local and corporate general management and senior management
  • Provide information and advice to senior and general management in the preparation of annual budget and financial planning and all other accounting related processes, such as CAPEX planning and execution, cash flow transactions, project cost analysis
  • Participate in cross-location standardization and special documentation projects within the EU region
  • Identify, develop and drive continuous improvement as local lean leader

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
  • 5+ years experience in a key role in finance
  • 2+ years management experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Certified public accountant or auditor
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Good knowledge of financial and tax law, expecially according to HGB
  • Excellent working knowledge of common ERP systems
  • Factory operations experience
  • Analytical thinking as well as structured, independent and responsible way of working
  • Strong communication skills, integrity, commitment, pragmatism and a pronounced hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • First experience in lean principles is an advantage
