Overview


The Senior Software Engineer will lead software project development and create innovative, user-focused solutions for the Digital Product Group. This role emphasizes a product-minded approach, where understanding user needs and delivering impactful software is a priority. The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer capable of working across the entire tech stack and comfortable exploring new technologies and tools. 

Responsibilities


  • Oversee and manage software projects with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions.
  • Partner with product teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Contribute to shaping and implementing the company’s technology strategy with a product-oriented mindset.
  • Identify opportunities and develop scalable, high-impact software solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Design, review, and implement software architectures that align with product goals.
  • Offer second-level technical support for implemented solutions, resolving complex issues.
  • Seamlessly move across the tech stack to address challenges in frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a software-related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Strong expertise in full-stack development, including Python, Rust, C++, and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Svelte.
  • Proven experience with modern web services and cloud platforms, including Django and AWS.
  • Proficiency in contributing to and building frontend frameworks with a keen eye for user experience.
  • Strong ability to provide technical training and share product-focused insights with team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively and analytically troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • The benefits for this position include group health insurances including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as 401k match, life insurance, long term disability, and paid time off. Salary starts at $125,000 + 45% based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
