2025 SRAM COMMUNITY PROGRAM

SRAM believes in the power of the bicycle as a catalyst to make change that counts. By creating opportunities to get more people on bikes, our goal is to bring new riders into the sport, grow the cycling market, and to make a truly inclusive sport for everyone. SRAM is pleased to offer this grant opportunity as a step towards increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in cycling.

PARTNERSHIP. EXPERIENCES. COLLABORATION.

The Community Program fosters partnerships and supports experiences to make cycling more accessible and equitable, connecting people and organizations to boost representation and grow new ridership.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Create opportunities for new riders, including novices and those with a few years of experience.
Focus on underrepresented groups in cycling, such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, adaptive, and women/femmes/trans/non-binary.
Partner with sustainable and scalable organizations.
Rev up cycling by boosting diversity and making the sport more inclusive and fun for everyone!

FAQ

Do you only fund 501(c)3 non-profits?

No. Funding opportunities are available for all organizations, programs, projects, or events.

When will we be notified if we’ve been accepted or denied?

All notifications will start to go out in mid-December.

If our application is denied, can we apply again?

Yes. You can apply again next year.

Who reviews applications?

An internal review is conducted in collaboration with the Community Specialist, Advocacy Director, Human Resources, and the marketing and sales teams.

If we are accepted, will we be asked to submit project updates?

Yes, programs will meet with SRAM Community Specialist quarterly and will receive more details upon acceptance.

How long is an organization a part of the program?

A calendar year from January through December.
