CAROLINE WASHAM
I'm a professional downhill mountain bike racer, mountain bike skills coach, and writer. I got my start racing BMX when I was 10 years old and have been in love with bikes ever since. After competing and qualifying for my first World Cup in 2018 at the age of 30, I'm still passionate about racing and using my experience to help grow the sport and mentor the next generation.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: PMBIA Level 2 Certified MTB Coach since 2013, Owner of Spoked, LLC Coaching since 2015, Professional Gravity MTB Athlete since 2015, US National Series Overall Winner in 2019, Team USA DH athlete at World Championships in 2019
FUN FACT: My nickname back in my BMX racing days was "the Cannibal", after legendary road cyclist Eddy Merckx... and because I could conjure up a pretty menacing race face.
