The last Grand Tour of 2024 has ended, and Primoz Roglic of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe won itAfter a dominant solo attack in the final kilometers of stage 19, Primoz reclaimed the red leader's jersey with just two days of racing left. He maintained his roughly two-minute lead in red after stage 20 and into the final ITT in Madrid, crossing the finish line in second placeThis is Primoz’s fourth Vuelta title.

It’s been a memorable racing season for Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, as they celebrated their new team name just a few months ago. Primoz and the team’s strong Vuelta performance helped them claim their second overall Grand Tour victory, closing out the year while reigning in redPrimoz’s winning Specialized Tarmac SL8 was equipped with 52/39T chainrings, a 10-36T cassette, SRAM RED AXS and the Hammerhead Karoo.

In addition to Primoz’s GC win, several other SRAM athletes delivered big Vuelta achievements: 

  • Enric Mas of Movistar Team – third place in GC 

  • Mattias Skjelmose of Lidl-Trek – white jersey winner 

  • Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe – second place in team classification
