Below is the most recent road tire compatibility chart for Zipp wheels with a hookless rim-tire interface according to each tire manufacturer by make and model.

Zipp hookless rims meet specifications as outlined by ISO and ETRTO. Zipp also works directly with tire manufacturers to gain compatibility with their tires. Per ISO standards, tire fitment with ISO compliant rims is the responsibility of the tire manufacturer. The list below represents compatibility as reported by the manufacturers for their respective tires. Those tires are denoted by a green checkmark. Zipp also works with tire manufacturers to cooperatively test and approve tires outside of ISO tire and rim recommendations. These tires are denoted by an Insert Black check from table here. These tires have been tested on Zipp wheels internally by Zipp and by the tire manufacturer. Tires that are not compatible are denoted by a red "X". If you have further questions about tire fitment, we recommend you reference the tire manufacturer’s website or contact them directly.

Zipp hookless rims should only be used with hookless-approved tubeless tires. Tubes are okay, but the wheel must be used with hookless-approved tubeless tires.

The recommended pressure for you is likely below these values and depends on the rim internal width of your wheels, system weight, and ride conditions. Please use the Zipp tire pressure calculator to find the best values for your setup.

  • Important Notice: Zipp hookless rims are NOT compatible with tires that require a minimum pressure higher than 5 bar (73 psi). Please follow the tire manufacturer's recommendations for the minimum pressure that is printed on your tire. Zipp's hookless wheel and tire systems should never be inflated to more than 5 bar (73 psi).
  • Provided they are equipped with tubeless beads, wider gravel tires run at lower pressures are usually fine to use on hookless rims. In case of a doubt, please consult the tire manufacturer.
  • Zipp hookless rims are designed for tubeless or tubeless-ready tires only. Inner tubes are ok, but the tire must have tubeless beads for safe retention.
  • Zipp hookless wheels meet the existing industry standards for the dimensions that control tire retention. The tire manufacturer determines their tire’s compatibility with those standards. Zipp actively collaborates with tire manufacturers within ISO and ETRTO committees to develop clear international standards for tubeless road tires.
  • As a result, any tubeless tire that is also compliant with these international standards should be compatible. However, tire brands have a right to declare which products are compatible or not with hookless rims.
  • If you are interested in a tire that is not listed here, you should check with the tire manufacturer or reference their website to see if the tire is compatible with Zipp wheels.
  • Zipp's tire pressure guide will help you determine your ideal air pressure. Consider a larger tire size if the recommended pressure for your setup is too close to 73psi / 5 bar.
