Just a matter of seconds was enough for Canyon//SRAM Racing's Kasia Niewiadoma to claim the biggest title of her career: the final yellow jersey in this year’s Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Kasia was overcome with emotion after digging deep, day after day, to hang onto the Maillot Jaune.

It all came down to stage 8’s historic finale, atop the iconic Alpe d’Huez. Team SD Worx-Protime’s Demi Vollering climbed to her second TdFF stage victory, clawing back over one minute of her deficit to Niewiadoma and falling short of defending her Tour title by only four seconds. Despite crashing during stage 5’s race on her way to Amnéville, Vollering continued to race with strength and tenacity.

In addition to Kasia and Demi’s podiums, several other SRAM athletes delivered big Tour achievements:

  • Marianne Vos of Team Visma | Lease a Bike – green jersey winner for best sprinter
  • Blanka Vas of Team SD Worx-Protime – stage 5 victory
  • Lidl-Trek – overall team classification win

Kasia and her Canyon//SRAM Racing team raced the Tour de France Femmes on SRAM RED AXS, the world’s most advanced road groupset. RED isn’t just the lightest electronic drivetrain available today, it has more comfortable and lower-effort braking, more precise shifting and expanded gearing choices. The team also races with Zipp NSW wheels, TIME XPRO pedals, and the Hammerhead Karoo head unit for effortless AXS integration.
