Sarah is an adventure cyclist, community organizer, and bicycle advocate. Her passion lies in exposing herself to new landscapes, cultures, ideas, and challenges via the (dirt) roads less traveled. She uses the lessons she learns from these experiences to inform her stories, events, routes, and relationships.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: In 2015 Sarah and her partner were the first cyclists to complete the Trans America (Dirt Road) Trail, a 5,000-mile dual-sport motorcycle route from East to West across the U.S.

Sarah has since bikepacked tens of thousands of miles through the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Spain, Morocco, Croatia, Slovenia, Crete, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

In 2021 Sarah was the second woman to complete the Tour Divide Mountain Bike Race in 21 days. During the event, she fundraised over $8,000 for the Cairn Project.

Sarah is an original founder of Radical Adventure Riders, the developer of the Sky Islands Odyssey Project, and the founder and director of Ruta del Jefe.
FUN FACT: 
I have ridden across the United States from east to west, and from north to south, all on dirt roads.
