Getting the most out of your eTap AXS groupset is simple. Just follow these four tips that cover the most critical items required for a dialed setup. 

1. LINE IT UP

Front Derailleur

Use the lines on the front derailleur cage to set your height and alignment relative to the big ring.  Watch How To Video

Rear Derailleur

A) Check your rear derailleur hanger alignment.  Watch How To Video

B) Shift the rear derailleur in the second largest cog and use MicroAdjust to line up the upper derailleur pulley with that cog.  Watch How To Video

2. LINK UP

2x Drivetrains

Big chainring and big cog + one inner and one outer links (bypassing the rear derailleur).  Watch How To Video

Install the PowerLock

Visually inspect the chain inboard & outboard to confirm that the PowerLock pins are seated completely, and then lock it the easy way, without tools. Watch How To Video

3. MIND THE GAP

Front Derailleur

A) Check that you have a 0.5—1mm gap between the outer plate of the front derailleur cage and the chain when on the big ring and small cog combo.  Watch How To Video

B) Check that you have a 0.5—1mm gap between the inner plate of the front derailleur cage and the chain when on the small ring and large cog combo.  Watch How To Video

Rear Derailleur

Set rear derailleur B-gap using the supplied B-gap tool (don’t skip this step!) for the smoothest, fastest shifting setup.  Watch How To Video

4. DIAL IT IN

A) Fine tune rear shifting using MicroAdjust.  Watch How To Video
