THE CYCLE EFFECT

Together, we will strengthen and expand our programming for more girls and women to build belonging and THRIVE! We will also enhance our DEI efforts, ensuring more participants from diverse backgrounds can build resilience, grit, and determination through cycling.
QUEER+ BIKES
Queer+ Bikes is a queer-centered cycling and community group welcoming all bodies, genders, and experiences! We reduce barriers to cycling through our gear closet, partner events, educational opportunities, and monthly group rides. We value creating community just as much as we love riding bikes.
We hope to be able to leverage support to enhance our community events, make bike maintenance and gear more accessible and empowering, and connect with other organizations doing incredible work in our area.
WORLD RIDE
World Ride has a mission to empower women globally through the sport of mountain biking. We work to give women social and economic opportunities by supporting guide training and community rides in Nepal, Guatemala, Peru, Lesotho, Botswana and Bhutan.
With our partnership with SRAM, we are hoping to develop new guides in Bhutan, Tanzania and Jordan, as well as provide ongoing educational support to our guides in Peru and Guatemala.
SISTERS IN THE WILD
Sisters in the Wild creates community focused bikepacking and gravel experiences for women, trans, and non-binary riders. Our mission is to build confidence, skills and connection by sharing adventures on bikes in wild places.
We hope to engage and support riders from under-served communities to experience gravel riding and bikepacking with us, through a series of initiatives across our Sisters in the Wild events.
GEARS IN ACTION
Gears in Action Racing is a 501c3 youth mountain bike sports team. Our organization is committed to developing and empowering our riders, ages 11-18, to become future leaders and athletes through racing.
GIA racing is hoping to get the team out to more national races with community support from SRAM.
BICYCLE COALITION YOUTH CYCLING
The Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling (BCYC) program works with youth ages 12-18 across Philadelphia in building healthy habits, leadership, and independence through the sport of cycling.
In 2025, BCYC is set to ignite a passion for cycling in more youth than ever! With SRAMs support we will be able to provide free programming, equipment, coaching, and leadership training to over 200 youth. We will also grow our All Star Team and level up our events to empower our Philly youth!
DIRTBOUND
DirtBound is a para off-road cycling initiative that aims to empower, develop and support para off-road cyclists.
This year I am hoping to be able to cover the cost of the Camp Dirt lodging with my partnership with SRAM. In addition, I'd to leverage the partnership for activations at Sea Otter and beyond. I'd like this first year to build the foundation of a lasting partnership.
WARPAINT OUTDOORS
To fill the void in outdoor sports by addressing the lack of diversity. As a BIPOC veteran-led group, we focus on fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging through our magazine, group activities, skills clinics, and Los Senderos Program, which builds stewardship and equity in the outdoors.
We aim to deepen our partnership with SRAM through youth programming for local Indigenous communities and creating connections for marginalized groups in cycling. We're also planning a NW bike festival with skills clinics, group rides, and conversations to center and connect BIPOC cyclists.
MAJOR KNOX ADVENTURES
Major Knox Adventures empowers adventure seekers of color to find belonging, wellness, and transformation through culturally rooted, inclusive outdoor experiences. We celebrate underrepresented stories, foster community, and promote equity in outdoor recreation.
MKA will partner with SRAM to empower underserved communities, like DC’s Wards 5, 7, and 8, by expanding access to cycling through education and inclusion. Together, we’ll elevate events like the 1928 Legacy Tour and Crank City Ride, fostering diversity, growth, and lasting connections in cycling.
SOLDIERS ON SINGLETRACK
Our mission is to support veterans in managing service related stress by providing a community of like-minded individuals, who are pursuing a common purpose through the mental and physical challenge of high intensity mountain biking.
To help spread the mission of adjunct therapy through the sport of cycling for the veteran community. To collaborate with SRAM with future events as well as clinics. To also connect with other organizations on helping grow connections outside of our networks.
GIFT OF GRAVEL
Gift of Gravel is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing diversity in the outdoors. We believe that getting people outside is an important part of living a healthy, happy life.
With SRAM's continued support, we're focused on building a sustainable future for Gift of Gravel in 2025. This means expanding our programs and strengthening our organizational foundation to ensure we can continue serving cyclists from marginalized communities for years to come.
MINORITY MOUNTAIN BIKERS
Minority Mountain Bikers is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing and highlighting diversity in mountain biking. We bring minorities to the sport, foster community through group rides, plan and execute mountain biking trips nationwide, and showcase these experiences to inspire others.
Partnership will enable us to organize more activities, fostering a stronger community and inspiring more minorities to join the sport. SRAM’s support can enhance our visibility in the cycling community, attracting new riders, and a discount on SRAM products will bring more riders to the SRAM family.
A QUICK BROWN FOX
A Quick Brown Fox works to build space and create opportunities for Black People, Indigenous people, and people of color to thrive in cycling and in the outdoors. Through programs, content, and initiatives, we continue to show how truly we believe that #REPRESENTATIONMATTERS.
We hope to continue our work in removing some of the financial barriers to road racing for Black Women, Indigenous Women, and Women of color.
BLACK GIRLS DO BIKE NYC
Black Girls Do Bike NYC fosters a community of BIPOC women passionate about cycling, especially Black women and girls. We organize meetups, rides, and skill-sharing events to promote health, diversity in all spaces, and gravel riding, inspiring BIPOC women and children to embrace the joy of cycling.
Information and support on things like bike part maintenance, gearing and shifting, grants and any/ everything SRAM has to offer. We are happy to become a part of the bigger cycling community.
INDIGENOUS WOMEN OUTDOORS
To ignite a spirit of empowerment, resilience, and connection among Indigenous women by providing them with the opportunity to explore and excel in outdoor sport activities.
Empower Indigenous women to break barriers and redefine what's possible through mountain biking, fostering belonging, respect, and leadership in our communities.
LITTLE BELLAS
The Little Bellas is a mountain bike organization, whose goal is to help young women reach their fullest potential. We aim to create a community to empower women through cycling.
Community Events! In 2025, we hope to create a number of community events throughout the Four Corners of the Navajo Nation.
CATALYST SPORTS
Catalyst Sports empowers people with physical disabilities to experience the life-changing impact of adventure in an inclusive community. We break barriers with adaptive equipment and specialized instruction, enabling children, adults, and veterans to fully engage in sports and adventure.
We are excited to expand access & advocate for adaptive mountain biking by continuing to scale locations in which we offer programs for our community. We also look forward to using SRAM's support as a sponsor of our annual adaptive mountain bike race. I'm excited about SRAM webinars & networking.
RIDE FOR RACIAL JUSTICE
Our mission is to work towards an equitable future for the sport of cycling through the power and freedom of the bicycle. Ensuring access to resources, education, and community for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) cyclists and to dismantle systemic racism.
With SRAM's support we hope, through advocacy and lobbying, to enhance BIPOC leadership, voices, experiences, community and infrastructure in cycling, from industry to local events.
TOGETHER WE RIDE CIC (TWR)
We enhance community health and wellbeing through cycling initiatives. We make cycling attractive and accessible for all, highlighting its benefits for commuting, recreation, and mental and physical health. We actively engage marginalized groups to change participation and representation narratives
TWR may be a small fish in a big sea, but we believe this partnership will help us increase visibility, access valuable resources, enhance our credibility, and expand networking opportunities. Together, we aim to get more people on bikes and promote the enjoyment of cycling.
LOS ANGELES BICYCLE ACADEMY
LABA works with youth from underserved communities where opportunity, access, equity and exposure within the sport of cycling are extremely limited. We achieve this through our Earn-a-Bike program, Women’s and Men's racing teams, bicycle safety and education curriculum and community rides.
Through our Earn-a-Bike and educational programs we put young BIPOC people into races and onto the track that would have a difficult time participating in the sport without our mentoring and support. Our SRAM partnership allows us to reach even more youth and increase our impact.
CHICAGO UNITED CYCLING CLUB
Chicago United is a registered nonprofit dedicated to nurturing and amplifying the voices of the Chicago BIPOC cycling community. Our mission is simple: to promote health, empower confidence, and foster a sense of belonging among all cyclists, regardless of their background or experience level.
With our continued SRAM partnership, Chicago United seeks to add to the equipment library, support teammates in event participation, develop deeper networks, and supplement operations costs. This partnership will empower us to build resources essential to our programs.
MAJOR TAYLOR INTERNATIONAL CYCLING ALLIANCE
In honor of Major Taylor’s legacy, we are committed to uniting the cycling community through the power of inclusion.
MTICA's objectives for 2025 are to educate people about Major Taylor's Legacy, offer cycling as an alternative means of transportation, and recruit younger cyclists to join Major Taylor Clubs. SRAM's partnership will provide more resources to achieve these objectives.
ALL BIKES WELCOME
Our mission is to build more racial equity and gender diversity in cycling by providing free and low-cost outdoor programming in the Northwest Arkansas corridor.
Our goals for 2025 include: Growing our keystone event, Grit MTB Festival, by 50%. We would love to have SRAM own a big activation at the festival in 2025!
MELANIN BASE MILES
MBM seeks to increase access and remove barriers to gravel cycling & racing for BIPOC riders who have been historically overlooked in the DMV cycling community. We administer several programs in support of our mission. These programs visibly increase racial representation and promote racial equity.
We believe that cycling is for everyone and are grateful to work alongside SRAM to build equity in cycling. In 2025, we are hosting a BIPOC gravel and mountain bike scholarship program. We are also hosting a 3-day BIPOC gravel camp. All MBM programs are provided to participants at no or low cost.
DAD BOD CYCLING INC.
Our mission is simple yet profound, to dismantle the stereotypes that have dominated the cycling world and to create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to ride.
Through partnering with SRAM we hope to grant children the opportunity to participate and benefit from the social, cognitive and emotional benefits of cycling. Our hope is to eliminate the barriers that prevent marginalized communities from benefiting from the joys of bikes.
THE COMMUNITY LIGHT FOUNDATION
The Community Light Foundation consists of a group of cyclists that wanted to get more involved in the community and we host cycling events that highlight Historic Black Events in Oklahoma.
The funds from the events support organizations that fight food insecurity, food deserts, and promote food as medicine in the underserved communities where we host the events.
ROAM EVENTS
Roam Fest is a femme and women's mountain bike festival for everyBODY. We curate intentional (aka fun as hell) space for women, genderqueer femme folks, and non-traditional riders to build community while playing bikes in a world-class riding destination.
SRAM fully embodies the tenant that empowering femme folks to know more about their bikes fosters independence and more joy. SRAM has been beside Roam Fest since 2017, sending the best SRAM ambassadors and employees to inspire our participants to be hands-on with their bikes and take control!
